Portland Table Tennis and Peace and Pong
Code of Conduct Policy
The Portland Table Tennis Club (PTTC) and the Peace and Pong Club have a zero-tolerance policy for racism, discrimination, sexual harassment, and bullying of any kind.
These behaviors include but are not limited to: comments or physical/verbal harassment due to a person’s race, color, gender identity, religion, language, medical condition, national origin, culture, disability, and sexual orientation.
It is expected that the members of the Portland Table Tennis Club and the Peace and Pong Club will maintain ethical and respectful conduct while on the premises and follow the Code of Conduct or their membership will be terminated.
Threats, threatening conduct, or any other acts of aggression or violence in the club will not be tolerated. Any person determined by the Board of Directors to have committed such acts will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including being barred from the club.
Members are liable for damage to the property or equipment that they incur and will be responsible for the costs associated with replacing or repairing the damage.
Consequences:
If the Code of Conduct policy is violated, the member(s) will receive a warning. If there is a second infraction, the member(s) will be excluded from the PTTC club for a month. A third infraction will result in permanent exclusion from the PTTC club.
If at any time the behavior of a member results in physical violence or other egregious behavior, (as determined by the board), the member will be excluded permanently from the club.
PTTC is not responsible or liable for lost or stolen property.
