Hello, my name is Tobbi i am a player from Iceland. I will be in Portland next thursday for 1 night for business and wanted to stop by you’re club to play if possible. I saw you had the option to just come and play for 10$, i wanted to ask what time of day is the best to come?
I am around 2100 rating in the US

Hi there,
Michael Harrison recently introduced me to the Club. All my life, I’ve enjoyed playing table tennis casually, and thanks to some coaching sessions with Michael, I’m learning a lot about proper form and improving my skills. I’m 66 years old and would love to be able to connect with Club members around my beginner/intermediate level for some casual games. Michael mentioned you might be forming a group for older folks, and if so, I’d love to participate. Thanks much!

Hi Ronald, thanks for reaching out. There are a lot of older folks who play at the club. And, the time for that group of older adults playing is 10:30AM on Thursdays. It is just in the forming stage. We hope to see you there.

I want to come by and play but if i come alone at any point would i be able to find a more beginner intermediate partner or are partner matchups only available at certain times? -
Hi John. You could come by anytime to play, but you are more likely to find a beginner/intermediate partner in the mornings or early afternoons. If you arrive and find there is no one to hit with, you can ask the host for assistance. Hosts can either match you up with a beginner/intermediate if there is someone available, or they can hit with you, as hosts are there to welcome new players.

Hi this is Tyler Satterthwaite, PE teacher at David Douglas HS. PTTC used to practice in our gym and help us maintain our racquets and tables. Since COVID we have not heard from your organization. Is there any interest on your part in re-establishing this relationship?

Hi Tyler. I sent you an email reply, as well. PTTC is open seven days a week from 10 AM till 9 PM. We’re not able to support other sites at this time. Hope to see you at the club soon.
